Challenge:
Pedestrian segregation, and providing safe refuges were the key requirements when they were looking at their traffic management challenges on the site.
Another factor was consistency across the site, to have the same colour and style of barriers in all areas so people could easily identify where a protected place began and finished.
Solution:
Vanguard’s Walksafe Handrail System provided the consistency and versatility to be placed all around the site, creating visible and safe walkways for staff.
Also supplied were the signage, wheel stops and mirrors to bring the standard of safety on site up to the mark.
