Vanguard 5-Step Safety Design Process.

Are you unsure as to whether you’ve done enough to keep your site safe? Are you struggling to get all your stakeholders onto the same page? Or are you ready to bring your traffic management plan to life, but are just not sure how?

Here at Vanguard, we understand the challenge of balancing both safety and productivity. Over the last thirty years, we’ve helped thousands of businesses like yours transform their workplaces into both safe and productive operations. To do this, we take you through our unique five step safety design process. Let’s take you through it.

1 – Assess

We take the time to understand where you’re at in your journey. If you’re not ready for a full safety design, we’ll advise on the next steps to take in order to prepare for this. We’ll then arrange a site assessment where one of our consultants will come to your site and meet you and your team to look at your needs. At this point, it’s really important to have all your stakeholders on board. Health and safety, management, operations, forklift operators, and anyone else that may be affected by your safety project. We’ll take a bunch of photos which we will then use to draft up our initial concept design.

2 – Align

The next step is an online meeting with one of our consultants. We will present to you visual concepts of the solution we’re proposing along with high level estimates so you’re clear as to the solutions and how much it’s gonna cost you.

Alignment is reached when you have internal buy in between operations, finance, and safety, our estimates align with your budgets, and that you’re comfortable that the proposed solutions will give you the right safety outcomes. We find reaching alignment at this stage is critical to a successful project.

It’s important to note that the ball remains firmly in your hands until you are ready to move forward with the project.

3 – Design

Next, our design team will get to work on creating three d renders of your safety solutions. This will help you see exactly how the designs will look when they come to life on your site. We understand that there could still be some changes at this stage, so we’ll work closely with you to ensure that this design delivers maximum safety, efficiency, and return on your investment. We’ll also prepare you a detailed proposal so that you have everything you need to present back to your stakeholders for final sign off.

4 – Implement

Once your project is approved, that’s when the rubber hits hits the road. We take your project from design and transform it into reality. The ops team here at Vanguard will make sure we have everything you need picked, packed, and ready to go. We’ll get it on the transport delivered to your door so your project starts on time.

Meanwhile, I’ll be working out with you and your team to ensure that the installation goes as smoothly as possible, and your operation does not stand still. We will take care of all the health and safety documents required for your project, and I am happy to share that we are also SiteSafe accredited. My installation contractors work on behalf of Vanguard, so you are working with Vanguard all the way. When your installation project is completed, I will do a full walk around with you where possible to ensure that the project has gone the way you intended it to.

5 – Evaluate

But that’s not the end of the story. Here at Vanguard, we’re all about effective outcomes. We’ll continue to check-in with you to ensure that your site is working safely and efficiently long after the project has signed off. This is because our promise to you is one hundred percent lifetime satisfaction. Whether it’s advice, products, or service, we stand behind everything we do.

So that’s it. If you want to feel confident and assured in your workplace safety, get in touch, and let’s start that conversation today. We’re here to help. We look forward to working with you.
