In all honesty, I love ordering from you. I’ve never had to wait long for a response and you’re always thinking about what could work better for the situation at hand. Super on to it when it comes to the orders and shipment and never had any issues. All in all I’d be more than happy to recommend you to others.

FAQs.
What are ForkSafe Steel Barriers?
ForkSafe is a modular steel impact-barrier system for forklift and MHE zones. It uses Crumple Zone Technology (CZT) to absorb impact and reduce stress on anchors and concrete. The system is PAS 13 impact-tested, available in multiple heights (e.g., 400, 600, 950, 1800, 2200 mm) and includes walkway options with handrail.
How much do ForkSafe steel barriers cost?
Typically, you can expect to pay between $120 - $600 per lineal metre. Higher barriers (such as the 180mm and 2200mm high topple barriers) can range between $800 - $2500 per metre)
However, cost depends heavily on your layout and protection level: barrier height, number of rails, handrail, corners/ends, install time, and any floor prep.
As protection increases (e.g., moving from single- to triple-rail), so does price. If you need a specific quote for your project, get in touch with our team and we can help you figure out what you need.

How are ForkSafe steel barriers installed?
They’re bolt-down systems. Posts use screw-bolt concrete anchors (four anchors per post), with rails supplied in 1200 mm / 2400 mm and custom lengths. The modular design makes installation straightforward and parts easy to replace later.
Where should I use ForkSafe barriers in a warehouse?
Match the height to the risk: 400 mm for low-level asset/machinery protection; 600 mm for asset protection (add a handrail for walkways); 950 mm for pedestrian walkways beside traffic; 1800–2200 mm “Topple barriers” beside pallet storage to stop product falling into walkways.
Are ForkSafe barriers certified or compliant with any standards?
ForkSafe is impact-tested to PAS 13, a code of practice designed specifically for forklift/MHE barrier performance. (Project-specific regulatory compliance in NZ/AU still depends on your site and application; we can advise case-by-case.)
To find out more about PAS 13, check out our explainer article here.
How much impact can they withstand?
As a reference point, the commonly used 950-A configuration is designed to withstand a 90° impact from a 5-ton machine at 10 km/h. Your required rating should be matched to real traffic and risk on site.
Steel vs flexible barriers — which is better?
Steel gives rigid, robust protection and tight footprints. Where regular impacts are expected, flexible systems can reduce ongoing damage and floor stress. We’ll recommend steel or flexible based on the impact profile and maintenance expectations of your zone.

Can ForkSafe be customised and how fast can it be supplied?
Yes. The system is fully modular; posts are available in multiple heights and rails can be supplied cut to length. The core range is stocked and readily available for delivery within 5 days.
