A single unit includes:
- A 10kg self-weighted base
- A post with a 4.6 metre retractable belt
But to create an exclusion zone, you’ll need at least two units so the belt has somewhere to connect.
That’s why each box comes with two complete units, giving you everything you need to set up your first barrier straight away.
From there, you can add as many extra units as needed depending on the size of the area you want to close off.
Fast to Set Up, Easy to Use
The system is designed to be simple.
Just pull the belt out, clip it onto the next unit, and repeat until your area is covered.

There’s also a locking clip on each connection point, which helps stop the belt from being accidentally knocked loose while in use.

That’s why each unit has four-way connectivity, allowing belts to connect from multiple directions.
This gives you more flexibility to create corners, angles, boxed-off areas, or larger custom-shaped zones depending on what you need.
And if you need to finish the barrier at a wall instead of another post, there’s also a wall receiver clip available.
Can They Be Used Outdoors?
While the Retractable Hazard Belt Barrier can be used outside if needed in fine weather, we strongly recommend it for indoor use only.
If used outdoors regularly, exposure to weather can cause rust to develop around the internal spring mechanism and where the post connects to the base, which will shorten the lifespan of the unit.
For the best long-term performance, keep it for indoor use.
