  • Raise or cover all leads to reduce trip hazards
  • Regularly check leads and cables to ensure they are not damaged
  • Do not use nails or metal staples to fix leads in place
  • Do not run leads through high traffic areas such as doorways
  • Do not use power leads near water, oil and other liquids
