Our client, Porirua City Council (PCC), needed to see how traffic would flow around a newly constructed roundabout at Kenepuru/Raiha intersection. This trial is for 6 – 12months, which will show where the carriageway will need to be modified before installing permanent kerb and channel. After consulting with the team at Vanguard, PCC chose to implement the temporary Rubber Traffic Separator system to assess how traffic would flow on the newly constructed roundabout before implementing it permanently. We spoke with PCC to learn about their experience with the process.
