Harvey Norman were building a new retail store in Masterton and contacted Vanguard to supply safety bollards to help protect the building from ram-raids or other unintentional vehicle impacts.
Challenges
Two key challenges were identified on site:
- Building Protection: Ensuring the building was protected from potential vehicle impacts, both intentional and accidental.
- Aesthetic Appeal: Providing effective security measures that also complemented the store’s design and appearance.
Solution
152mm diameter inground stainless steel bollards. These bollards were custom-designed to incorporate knock-on caps to allow concrete filling, ensuring maximum strength and durability.
The installation of these bollards has resulted in a secure store that also maintains a sharp and professional appearance.
