Founded in 1921, IVE is Australia’s largest diversified marketing company, connecting more than 2800 clients with their customers every day. Their print division is the largest printer in the Southern hemisphere, printing everything from the likes of books, magazines and catalogues to stationery, collateral and mailers.
Because IVE Print’s offering is continually evolving in line with our sustainability commitments and the industry’s latest technologies, they were in need of a new super hub distribution facility to be located in Kemps Creek, Sydney.
Delivering high-volume, fast turnaround campaigns through to hand-finished bespoke print projects, IVE Print were in need of a safety partner who could work alongside them throughout their fluid and fast-moving safety fit-out project.
Challenge
Early in the process, a safety risk was identified which saw loading docks unguarded, leaving people exposed to an uncontrolled and potentially hazardous environment.
Solution
Together, IVE Print and Vanguard came up with a practical solution that was easy for the staff to operate.
Vanguard implemented a mix of Boplan Flexible Barriers, and Dock Gates. The Boplan HP Plus (3 Rails) ensured the dock’s open edges was secured safely, while the DockSafe Lift-Up Gate created a secure and controlled access point.
Outcome
The open dock edges are now controlled and the risk of falling has been mitigated giving IVE Print peace of mind that their people are protected.
