Our client came to us requiring a solution to safely move pedestrians between locations.
Being a port, this is a busy site with many incoming visitors and a range of on-site risks, such as moving vehicles and machinery.
Hence, traffic delineation and separation from pedestrian walkways were needed. However, a solid barrier couldn’t be used for practical reasons.
Solution
Vanguard analysed the risks and recommended our traffic separator system AKA ‘The Snake’.
Weighing a solid 16 kg per metre, there is no need to bolt down meaning fast setups and re-locations.
With hi-vis flexible posts included, this solution ensured a very visual delineation between traffic and people in a busy port!
