FAQs.

Can I use these wheel stops for heavy vehicles (such as trucks and buses)?

For heavy vehicles such as trucks and buses, we recommend our heavy duty Truck Wheel Stop.

Can I install these onto pavers?

If the pavers are thick, then a M12 x 150mm concrete screw should work – if the pavers are too thin, they may crack. If the paver is too thin, then drill the hole out to 16mm clearance hole and drive a spike through and into the base course below.

What purpose do Wheel Stops serve?

Wheel Stops are used to shield structures from vehicular damage and maintain the delineation between parking spaces and pedestrian thoroughfares.

Where are Wheel Stops commonly installed?

They are widely installed in car parks, supermarkets, shopping malls, and other areas where vehicle and pedestrian traffic needs to be managed safely.

What features enhance the visibility of these Wheel Stops?

They are equipped with high-visibility chevrons to be easily seen by drivers, thereby enhancing the safety of the parking area.

How heavy is each wheel stop, and is it easy to install?

Each Wheel Stop weighs 14kg, making it possible for a single person to install without specialised equipment or extra help.

What types of car parks and vehicles is the 1830mm wheel stop suited for?

They are intended for use in disability parking spaces or in any parking scenario where the dimensions exceed standard sizes for regular parking. These can also be used in standard sized car park to cater for larger wheel-based vehicles such as larger SUVs and utes.
