FAQs.
How far apart should I space tactile studs?
Tactile studs must be spaced at 50mm (+/-1mm) centres in both directions.
How many tactile studs do I need per metre?
Spacing tactile studs at 50mm centres, you’ll need 400 studs per square metre.
How long should I leave new concrete to cure before installing tactile studs?
In the winter we'd recommend leaving concrete for a minimum of 10 days, but up to 2 weeks in colder environments e.g. the deep south. Concrete cures faster in warmer temperatures, so in summer we'd recommend waiting a minimum of 7 days.
