FAQs.
How long does the backing adhesive last?
The peel and stick adhesive will adhere to bitumen/asphalt surfaces for approx. 12-18 months and on concrete surfaces for 3-4 years.
For longterm use on asphalt, we recommend using an additional epoxy adhesive such as AT-HP Blue High Performance Chemical Anchor adhesive (1 tube per 11 pads).
How do I fix peel & stick tactile pads to timber surfaces?
Our Tactile Pads include a fixing hole in each of the 4 corners, so we recommend fixing them to the timber using appropriate countersunk timber screws. If you would like to ad adhesive for a stronger fix, we recommend using Hilti RE100 epoxy adhesive.
